The new Target will be located at 8645 Olive Blvd. in University City. It will be about 149,000 square feet, and will create more than 170 new jobs. It will serve as the anchor for the Market at Olive development, which also has a Costco.

The store will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.

The location will have a range of services, like drive up, order pickup, and same-day delivery. Inside the store, there will also be an Apple at Target section, a CVS Pharmacy, and a Starbucks.

The Target will even have a mural by local artist Jayvn Solomon, showing off key landmarks and cultural aspects of U-City, as well as its musical history.

The opening will mark Target’s 38th store in Missouri. They first opened here in 1969, and now employ more than 6,400 people across the state.

Another new location is planned for Farmington, continuing their expansion in the area.
