ST. LOUIS – University City is waiving parking meter fees for up to six months in an effort to help small businesses.
The Post-Dispatch reported the city manager says the move will take effect immediately to assist small businesses in recovering from the pandemic.
The move is expected to cost the city about $150,000.
The city will seek reimbursement from the retail sales tax funds.
